The Sleeper Pillow

Working prototype for my Honors in Multimedia Scholarship thesis project. This design fiction object is a pressure-activated pillow speaker inspired by the future world of Uglies, a novel by Scott Westerfeld.

Built using Adafruit Flora in Arduino.

A project combining design and research principles to explore the future of the entertainment industry and how these changes could affect the School of Cinematic Arts by the year 2025.

Printed and distributed to SCA faculty and staff.

Future School Poster

This design fiction poster advertises an undergraduate course that could exist in one possible future of the cinema school.

The prompt at the bottom of the poster was the result of a game survey that was distributed to over 100 SCA students, faculty, and staff in early 2015.
